A family holding the keys to their home

About Ameridura

You don’t have to be asleep to live the American dream. It can actually happen for you and your family.

The American dream was never supposed to stay a dream. It was supposed to have a front door, a kitchen table, and a name on the deed that belongs to your family.

Our heart goes out to families who work hard — and still feel locked out.

There is a housing crisis in America. Not a talking-point crisis. A kitchen-table crisis. People who clock in, raise children, take care of their people, and still can barely afford rent. Families who do everything “right” and still watch the cost of a home climb out of reach. Young couples who start to believe that owning something of their own is for somebody else.

That is not a small problem. That is a country forgetting that homeownership is how ordinary people build a life that lasts. Rent can keep a roof over your head. It does not give you a stake. Month after month, a family can pay enough to live — and still be helping build someone else’s children’s future.

If you can afford rent, you should not have to spend those years building your landlord’s children’s legacy. Homeownership is how you start leaving your own.

That is why Ameridura exists. Not as a slogan. As a company with a passion and a desire that more people have access to affordable, American-made housing. Homes built in this country. Homes a family can be proud of. Homes that make ownership possible without asking anyone to settle for less than they deserve.

What affordable actually means

You should never have to choose between beautiful and affordable.

Affordable does not mean cheap. It does not mean cutting corners. It does not mean asking your family to live in something subpar.

We did not make the house cheaper by asking your family to accept a weaker wall, a smaller life, or a house that looks like it was designed to be forgotten. We didn’t make the house cheaper by asking your family to accept less. We changed the way the house is built. Factory precision. Repeatable designs. Smart purchasing. Controlled production. A warranty you can actually read. That is how we fight for a price a family can live with — without handing them something subpar.

We’re not building cheaper houses. We’re building a better way to build houses.

The factory isn’t the dream. Your family is.

Homeownership is not a luxury. It is a foundation.

A rented house can be a blessing. It can also be a treadmill. You keep the lights on. You keep the landlord whole. And when you leave, you take your furniture and you leave the asset. Ownership is different. The payment is still a payment — but more of it can start belonging to you. The house can become the place your children remember. The address that stays. The beginning of a legacy that does not have someone else’s name on it.

We believe that matters. We believe a family that can afford rent deserves a real conversation about whether they can afford a home. We believe beautiful and attainable are allowed to live in the same sentence. And we believe American-made housing should not be a privilege reserved for people who already have everything figured out.

A bright living room in an Ameridura home

Come sit down with us. You may be closer than you think.

You do not have to have perfect credit. You do not have to have a huge down payment already saved. You do not have to pretend you understand every loan program. You have to be willing to ask.

Peace of mind is part of the house.

Every qualifying Ameridura Home comes with the Ameridura Homes Limited Warranty, issued by Ameridura Manufacturing Company (A Benefit Corporation): one year on covered general defects, two years on covered systems, and five years on covered major structural defects. That is not a substitute for taking care of the home. It is a defined promise so you are not left guessing who stands behind the work.

Read the warranty

Credit and down payment still matter. They do not get to be the whole story.

We will talk with you about credit. We will talk with you about down payment. We will help you understand what a lender actually looks at. And we will tell you the truth: many Ameridura homes are designed so qualified buyers in eligible rural areas may be able to use USDA 100% financing — little or no down payment — through participating lenders. That is a USDA loan guarantee to the lender, not a promise that every buyer, every property, or every Ameridura home automatically qualifies.

Qualified buyers purchasing eligible properties in qualifying rural areas may be able to use USDA financing with little or no down payment, subject to USDA and lender requirements. Where a participating lender offers a combination construction-and-permanent loan, that closing can include the lot and the home to be built — it is not a promise that every Ameridura property or every buyer qualifies.

You don’t have to be mortgage-ready to talk to Ameridura. Talking to us can be the first step toward becoming mortgage-ready.

Who we are

A Louisiana manufacturer of factory-built ICF homes.

Ameridura Manufacturing Company is a Louisiana benefit corporation. We manufacture the house. Ameridura Homes is what your family buys — insulated concrete form walls, factory modules, International Residential Code as Louisiana adopted it, set on a permanent foundation.

The plant is in New Orleans East, on Old Gentilly, across from NASA Michoud. We invoice houses. We are not a charity, not a HUD-code chassis plant, and not a marketing company recoded as a factory.

Visitor face of the 7-acre plant. Truck in on the west gate. Families in on the east. The 1,250 first-article demonstration pad sits at the street — factory tour is the showroom. The 40,000 SF high-bay is ~170′ × 235′ on this ~207′ strip; docks belong on the west and north walls. The labeled campus diagram on /site is the controlling layout. Planning visualization — not a survey, not purchased, not a NASA contract.

One company. One mission.

Homes are sold as Ameridura Homes. They are manufactured by Ameridura Manufacturing Company (A Benefit Corporation). We are building a better way to build houses so more American families can own one — and so the people who build America’s communities can produce housing that is actually repeatable.

Build more American homes.
